A RESOLUTION DIRECTING MAKING OF AMENDED
ASSESSMENT RE CERTAIN ASSESSMENTS UNDER
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION N0. 177
SARATOGA AVENUE AND COX AVENUE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
CITY OF SARATOGA
ASSESSMENT NOS. 6A AND 7
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Saratoga,
Santa Clara County, California, that
WHEREAS, an assessment and diagram was made and filed with
the City Clerk of said City all pursuant to Resolution of Inten-
tion Noo 177, adopted by the City Council of said City on Febru-
ary 5, 1964, and the provisions of the Municipal Improvement Act
of 1913, and said assessment was confirmed by said Council on
June 24, 1965, and recorded in the office of the Superintendent
of Streets of said City; and
WHEREAS, certain lots or parcels of land upon which there
are unpaid assessments against which bonds have been issued under
the Improvement Bond Act of 1915, have been divided so that they
no longer conform to the original parcel boundaries as shown on
said assessment;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that:
1. Creegan and D'Angelo, San Jose, California, Engineer
of Work, shall cause to be prepared and filed with the City Clerk
a report and amended assessment and diagram of the lots or par-
cels so dividedj said parcels being designated Assessment Nos. 6A
and 7-
2. That the unpaid installments of said original assess-
ments shall be segregated and apportioned in accordance with the
benefits to the several parts of the original lots or parcels and
the total amount of the assessments of the several portions of
the original lots or parcels shall be equal to the unpaid assess-
ments upon said original lots or parcels of land.
3. That Wednesday, the 3rd day of February, 1971, at the
hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M., at the regular meeting place of said
Council, Council Chambers, City Hall, Saratoga, California, be,
and the same are hereby, fixed as the time and place for hearing
said amended assessments before said Council.
4. That the City C~erk of said City shall a~Ivertise the
time and place of such hearing before the Council by publishing
a notice of said amended assessments twice in the Saratoga News,
a newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in
said City, the first publication being not less than fifteen (15)
days before said hearing.
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true and
correct copy of resolution duly passed and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Saratoga, California, at a meeting thereof
held on the 6th day of January ,r,,, , 1971 , by the follow-
