AMENDING RESOLUTION 590 TO REVISE BOUNDARIES
OF UTILITY DISTRICT ~4 AND ADJUST TIME LIMIT
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Saratoga as follows:
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 590, Saratoga Underground Utility District No. 4,
was formed on September 1, 1971; and
WHEREAS, ~b'~c Uti~z~y C~issi0n Rui~"~0 requires adjustment of the boundary
of Underground Utility District #4 to delete that portion of Fifth Street originally
included within the district; and
· WHEREAS, it is deemed necessary t0 ~nd the time limit for completion of the
conversion to underground utilities; and
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Map of Saratoga Underground Utility
District No. 4, dated February 19, 1971 is revised to delete all that portion of
Fifth Street originally included in Underground Utility District No. 4 from the
Underground Utility District.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that all poles, overhead wires and associated overhead
structures shall be removed and underground installation made in said underground
utility district within the following times:
a. Underground installation by utility companies and property owners and
reconnections not later than September!l, 1973.
b. Removal of pD~es, overhead wires and other associated overhead .structures
not later than October 31, 1973.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the City Clerk, within ten (10) days after the
adoption of this resolution, shall mail a copy hereof to affected property owners
as such are shown on the last equalized roll and to the affected utilities.
