RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EMINENT DOMAIN PROCEEDINGS
WHEREAS the City of Saratoga deems it necessary and
proper to acquire the hereinafter described real property
for public park purposes, and for a public park, which real
property is more particularly described and set forth on
Exhibit 'A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Saratoga
hereby resolves that it finds and determines and hereby declares
as follows:
Section 1: The public interest and necessity require
' ' ' the acquisition of the hereinafter described
real property, and a fee interest in said property,
for the public use of a public park, and said property
and the public
in the manner
which will be most compatible with the greatest public
good and the least private injury.
Section 2: Pursuant to Article I, Section 14, of the
empowered to take all necessary steps to acquire a fee
interest in the said real property more particularly
described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, by eminent
in the court having Jurisdiction thereof, and
to necessary steps to proceed to and to con-
clude, the condemnation of said real property in the
name of said City of Saratoga in accord herewith.
The above and foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City o£ Saratoga held on the 5th day of April, 1972, by
the following vote, which vote constitutes not less than a two-
thirds vote of all the members of said City Council.

more particularly described as follows:
Lots 110 and 111 of Tract ~4574, Pride's
Crossin~ South, Unit No. 4, as shown on

in Book 292 of at Pages 23 and 24,
in Ehe Office of County Recorder of
Santa Clara County.
