RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING COMMITTEE
OF THE WHOLE MEETING DATES
The City Council of the City of Saratoga does hereby resolve as
follows:
Section 1: In addition to the regular meetings of this
Council which are held on the first and third
Wednesdays of each month, under and pursuant to Section 2-4
of the Saratoga City Code, pursuant to Government Code
Sections 36805 and 54954, and other applicable laws, this
Council shall have meetings as a committee of the whole on
the second Tuesday and fourth Tuesday of each month, unless
such date be a holiday, in which case such meetings shall be
held on the day following which is not a holiday. The time
of each such meeting as a committee of the whole shall be
7:30 P.M. of said day, and the place shall be the Saratoga
City Council chambers at 13777 Fruitvale Avenue, Saratoga,
California.
Section 2: The within-set-forth meetings of this Council as
a committee of the whole may be conducted
regardless of whether or not a quorum is present, so long as
at least two members of said Council are present at each
such meeting, and each of the same shall be opened to the
public, but otherwise shall be study and discussion sessions,
at which no formal action by minute order, resolution or
ordinance shall be taken, and no minutes need be kept of
said meetings.
Section 3: The provisions of Article II of Chapter 2 of the
Saratoga City Code shall not be applicable to
meetings of the Council as a committee of the whole, as above
set forth, save and exc.ept that insofar as said gathering does
constitute a meeting, the provisions of Sections 2-23, 2-24
and 2-25 of said Saratoga City Code shall be applicable to
said proceedings.
The above and foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly passed
and adopted at a meeting of the City Council of the City of Saratoga held
on the 3rd day of May , 1972, at which a quorum was
present, and by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Smith, Dwyer, Bridges, Diridon and Kraus
