RESOLUTION DESIGNATING MEMBER AS ALTERNATE DIRECTOR
OF DISTRICT BOARD OF COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICT NO.
4 OF SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
RECITALS:
(a) Section 4730 of the Health and Safety Code of
California provides, in part, as follows:
"The governing body of each city and the
Board of Supervisors shall each select one of
its members, other than its presiding officer,
as an alternate Director to act as a member of
the District Board in place of the presiding
officer during his absence, inability of refu-
sal to act."
(b) This body wishes to select one of its members to
act as such alternate Director.
IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
1. ROBERT H. DWYER is hereby designated as an alternate
Director to act as a member of the District Board of County Sanitation
District No. 4 of Santa Clara County, California, in the place of the
presiding officer of this body during his absence, inability or refusal
to act, until further action of this body.
2. All previous designations of alternate Directors are.
hereby revoked.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Saratoga,
County of Santa Clara, State of California, this 3rd day of May, 1972,
by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Smith, Dwyer, Bridges, Diridon and Kraus
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
