A RESOLUTION CONSENTING TO THE CIRCULATION
OF A PETITION TO ANNEX CERTAIN INHABITED
TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF SARATOGA
Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Saratoga as follows:
The proponents of an annexation of certain inhabited territory
having filed with the City Clerk of the City of Saratoga, a Notice
of Intention to circulate a petition to annex said territory to the
City of Saratoga, said territory having been designated as WESTBROOK,
and there having been filed with said Notice an affidavit showing
publication according to law of said Notice in the Saratoga News,
a newspaper of general circulation, now therefore;
It is resolved and ordered by said City Council that receipt
of said Notice is 'hereby acknowledged and consent to the circulation
of said petition within said territory among the qualified voters
therein is hereby granted.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Saratoga
this 5th day of July, 1972, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Smith, Dwyer, Bridges, Diridon and Kraus
NOES: Non~
ABSENT: None
