A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE PROPOSED
FIVE-YEAR COUNTY LIBRARY
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Saratoga has received
the Five-Year County Library Capital Improvement Program for 1972 - 1976;
and
WHEREAS, there is a needed library facility projected to be
constructed in Saratoga in 1974-75; and
WHEREAS, this proposed program reflects the capital improvement
needs of a majority of the member cities in the County library system;
and
WHEREAS, there is a need for these facilities in each of the
mentioned communities, particularly in Saratoga,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved the Saratoga City Council urges
the Board of Supervisors to approve the recommended Five-Year Capital
Improvement Program for library improvements as recommended by the
County Executive and the County Librarian.
