RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ABANDON
PORTIONS OF WARDELL ROAD
The City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby resolves
as follows:
SECTION 1: Pursuant to Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets
and Highways Code of the State of California, the
City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby declares its intention
to order the vacation and abandonment of portions of Wardell Road,
Portions of that certain street known as Wardell Road, located
between Carniel Avenue and Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road in the City
of Saratoga, County of Santa Clara, State of California, more
particularly described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and in-
corporated herein by reference.
SECTION 2: The 4th day Of Qctober , 1972, at the
hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m., at the Council Chambers
of the City Council, City Hall, Fruitvale Avenue, Saratoga,, California
is hereby fixed as the time and place for hearing all persons inter-
ested in or objecting to the proposed vacation and abandonment above
set forth.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Saratoga at a regular meeting held on
the 6th day of September, 1972, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Smith, D',vyer, BridSes, Diddon and Kraus

Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of Wardell Road and Sara-
toga-Sunnyvale Road as shown on the map of Tract No. 3475, recorded in Book
163 of Maps at Page 33, Santa Clara County Records; thence along the center
.line of Wardell Road south 89°56'00'' west 20.00 feet to the TRUE POI~T OF ~
BEGINNING; thence along the center line of Wardell Road south 89°56'00'' ~
'west 143.17 feet; thence leaving said center line along a curve to the left
from a tangent that bears north 31°39'03" west a distance of 42.82 feet thru
a central angle of 58°24'57'' with a radius of 42.00 feet to a point in the
northerly property line of Wardell Road; thence along the northerly property

line of Wardell Road south 89°56'00'' west 20.00 feet to the TRUE POINT OF
BEGINNING; thence along the center line of Wardell Road south 89°56'00'' west
143.17 feet; thence leaving said center line along a curve to the right from
a tangent that bears south 31°39'03'' east a distanceof 21.15 feet thru a
central angle of 28~51'14" with a radius of 42.00 feet to a point in the
southerly property line of Wardell Road; thence along the southerly property
line of Wardell Road north 89°56'00'' east 136.64 feet; thence leaving said
