HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 646 CITY COUNCIL'RESOLUTION NO. 646 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA ADOPTING CERTAIN REVISIONS TO THE GENERAL PLAN FOR 1972 WHEREAS, the City of Saratoga has a comprehensive General Plan ire guide City development, it is necessary to review said plan every year in order to refine and resolve current problems and discrepenctes that arise, and WHEREAS, the Planning Con~ission and City Council have followed the necessary and normal steps and procedures in studying, analyzing, and reviewing said plan, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Saratoga adopt the following revisions to the General Plan with said changes made accordingly on the General Plan Map-Exhibit "A" attached: (a) A new Planned Commercial land use designation be shown on the Garcia and MilJevich properties located Just south of Prospect Road on the west and south sides of Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road, respectively. (b) In order to provide a better transition between single family residential, multiple residential, and commercial, change the Visitor Com- mercial land use designation at the southwest corner of Big Basin Way and Sixth Street (Dampsay property) to Apartment (multi-residential) land use designation. (c) The vacant parcel behind Azule Crossing Shopping Center (Galeb property) designated Medium Density Residential be changed to a new Residential Duplex land use designation. PASSED AND A~OPTED BY the City of Saratoga City Council, State of California, this 6th day of May 1972 by the following roll call vote: AYES: Councilmen Smith, Dwyer, Diridon and Kraus NOES: None ABSENT: Councilman Bridges MAY R CITY
