RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA
COMMEMDING THE C.A.T.V. CITIZENS COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, FRANK J. ZIEGEL, ROBERT L. MC ALEXANDER and HOWARD D. TAYLOR, JR.
were members of the C.A.T.Vo Citizens Committee appointed by the City Council;
and
WHEREAS, these persons worked diligently for more than one year assisting
the City Council and City Staff in evaluating C.AoT.Vo franchise proposals; and
WHEREAS, the Committee members directed their talents to developing a
set of C.A.T.V. System Performance Standards for a Cable Television System in
Saratoga which were adopted by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the Committee members demonstrated not only dedication and
con~nittment to their task, but also an interest in their community;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Saratoga does hereby acknowledge the community service of FRANK ZIEGEL,
ROBERT MC ALEXANDER end HOWARD TAYLOR, and extends its appreciation for a job
~ell done.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Saratoga at a regular meeting held on the 6th day
of December, 1972, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Smith, Dwyer, Diridon and Kraus
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman Bridges
