RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA
COMMENDING ALICE RAWAK
WHEREAS, Mrs. Alice Rawak has given unselfishly of her time to the
Brookview Homeowner's Association, having served as President an5 Newsletter
editor, as well as to the entire Saratoga Community; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Rawak has dedicated herself to environmental concerns
in fighting the commercialization of the Prospect Road area, and further
serving as the motivating force behind the beautification of this area; and
WHEREAS, she has been commended by her peers in being selected Citizen
of the Year in Saratoga in 1970; and
W~REAS, she has distinguished herself to her fellow Saratogans as
a conscience of the community through her personal involvement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Saratoga does hereby acknowledge the con~nunity service of Alice Rawak and
extends its appreciation for a job well done.
The above and foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Saratoga at a regular meeting held on the 4th
day of April , 1973, by the following vote:
