A RESOLUTION FIXING THE AMOUNT OF REVENUE FROM
PROPERTY TIXES NECESSARY FOR THE SUFFORT OF THE
DEPARTMMNT~8 OF T~E CITY OF SARATOGA FOR THE
CURR~NT ~ AND TO PAY ANY BONDED OR OTHER
INDEBTEDNESS OF THE CITY, AND FIXING THE AMOUNT
OF SUFFICIENT TO PAY ,THE ESTIMATED COSTS
FOR FISCAL YEAR F01 SCL DISTRICT 1, AZLrLE
LIGHTING ~STRICT, QUITO LIGHTING DISTRICT,
FREDERICKSBURG DRIVE PARK MAINTENANCE DISTRICT,
MANOR DRIV~ PARK MAINTENANCE DISTRICT AND GREEN-
BRIAR PARK MAINTENANCE ])ISTRICT
The City Council of the City of Saratoga does hereby resolve as follows:
Section 1: The sum of $228,750 is hereby fixed as the amount
of revenue ~rom property taxes necessary to support
· the departments of the Gity of Saratoga for the c~rrent fiscal
year and to pay any indebtedness of s&id City.
Section 2: The sum of $6,784 is hereby fixed as the amount of
revenue necessary to be raised to pay the costs of
"SCL District 1" lighting district within the City of Saratoga for
the current fiscal year and all of the lands exclusive of improve-
ments within said district are hereby assessed in said total sum,
each parcel hereby bein~ declared to be benefited by the improve-
ment of the furnishing ef electric current and the maintenance of
the street lighting system presently located in said district, in
the proportion that the assessed valuation of its land exclusive
of improvements bears to the total assessed valuation of all the
lands exclusive of improvements, of the entire district, and said
assessment shall be and is hereby prorated over all of said par-
cels in direct proportion to each's assessed valuation, exclusive
of improvements.
Section 3: The sum of $2,582 is hereby fixed as the amount of
revenue necessary to be raised to pay the costs of
"Azule Lighting District" within the City of Saratoga for the
current fiscal year, and all o[ the land exclusive of improve-
ments within said Distr'~ct are hereby assessed in said total sum,
each parcel hereby being declared to be benefited hy the improve-
ment of the furnishing of electric current and the maintenance of
the street lighting system presently located in said district, in
the proportion that the assessed valuation of its land exclusive
of improvements, of the entire district, and said assessment shall
he and is hereby prorated over all of said parcels in direct pro-
portion to each's assessed valuations exclusive of improvements.
Section 4: The sum of $5,768 is hereby fixed as the amount of
revenue necessary to be raised to pay the costs of
"Quito Lighting District" within the City of Saratoga for the
current fiscal years and all the land exclusive of improvements
within said district are hereby assessed in said total sum, each
parcel hereby being declared to be benefited By the improvement
of the furnishing of electric current and the maintenance of the
street lighting system presently located in said district~ in
the proportion that the assessed valuation of its lands exclusive
of improvements, hears to the total assessed valuation of all the
lands exclusive of improvements~ of the entire district, and said
assessment shall be and is hereby prorated over all of said par-
cels in direct proportion to each's assessed valuations exclusive
of improvements.
Section 5: The sum of $134 is hereby fixed as the amount necessary
to be raised to pay the cost of "Fredericksburg Drive
Park Maintenance District" within the City of Saratoga for the
current fiscal year, aod all of the land and improvements within
said District are hereby assessed in said total sum each parcel
hereby being declared to be beneftted by the maintenance of the
landscaping and appurtemances presently located in said district,
in the proportion that the assessed valuation of its land and
improvements of the entire district, and said assessment shall
be and is hereby prorated over all of said parcels in direct pro-
portion to each's assessed valuation.
Section 6: The sum of $1,327 is hereby fixed as the amount of
revenue necessary to be raised to pay the costs of
"Greenbrier Park Maintenance District" within the City of Saratoga
for the current fiscal year, and all of the land and improvements
within said District are hereby assessed in said total sum,~each
parcel hereby being declared to be benefited by the maintenance
of the landscaping and :appurtenances presently located in said
districts in the propor:t~ni!that the assessed valuation of its
land and improvements of the entire district, and said assess-
ment shall be and is hereby prorated over all of said parcels
in direct proportion to caches assessed valuation.
Section 7: The sum of $413 is hereby fixed as the amount of
revenue necessary to be raised to pay the cost of
"Manor Drive Park Maintenance District" within the City of
Saratoga for the current fiscal year, and all of the land and
improvements within said District are hereby assessed in said
total sum, each parcel hereby being declared to be benefited by
the maintenance of the landscaping and appurtenances presently
located in said district, in the proportion that the assessed
valuation of its land ~md improvements of the entire district,
and said assessment shall be and is hereby prorated over all
said parcels in direct proportion to each's assessed valuation.
Section 8: This resolution shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and adoption.
The above and foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and passed
thereafter and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Saratoga on the 21st day of August, 1974, by the following vote:
