A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 8
TO ALLOW THE CITY MANAGER AUTHORIZATION TO
ENTER INTO CERTAIN CONTRACTS FOE SERVICES
WHEREAS, the growth of Saratoga, additional demands being placed upon
city government, and the decreasing value of the dollar have combined to
drastically increase the expenditures of the City:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Resolution No. 8, adopted
December 20, 1956, be amended as follows:
Section 1: To add Item H, entitled Contractual Services, to read as follows:
(H) To authorize expenditures previously approved
in the budget for the City Manager to enter into
contracts for professional services to the limit of
$3,500.00. Expenditures in excess of this amount
or expenditures which were not included in the
budget must be presented to the City Council for
approval.

The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of Saratoga held on the 20th day of
March, 1974, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Smith, 2ritham, Krau~ Didden & 8ridg~s
NOES: NOl~.~
