RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE CANVASS BY
THE SANTA CLARA COUNTY REGISTRAR OF VOTERS
OF SPECIAL MAXIMUM PROPERTY TAX RATE ELECTION
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Santa Clara County has duly canvassed
or caused to be canvassed the votes cast in the mailed ballot special maximum
property tax rate increase election in the Manor Drive Park Maintenance District
held on March 4, 1975, in the City of Saratoga, by the electors of said District
upon the measure hereinafter set forth, and has certified to this City Council
the result of the votes cast at said election upon said measure, which said
certification is now on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City;
NOW, ~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Saratoga
as follows:
1. Said canvass by said Board of Supervisors as shown by said
certification and the result of said election is hereby ratified, confirmed
and approved, and the City Clerk of the City is hereby directed to enter this
resolution on the minutes of the City Council as a statement of the result of
said election.
2. At said election the following measure for increasing the maximum
property tax rate of the District was submitted to the electors of said District,
and the number of votes cast in the District for and against said measure was
as follows:

Measure: Shall a proposed increase to $.28 (twenty-eight
cents) per $100.00 of assessed valuation in the maximum
property tax rate, such rate to be the maximum authorized
tax rate in the Manor Drive Park Maintenance District
commencing in Fiscal Year 1975-76, be approved? 29 2
3. The total number of votes cast in the District at said special
maximum property tax rate increase election was and is set forth in said canvass
by said Board of Supervisors.
4. More than 1/2 of all the votes cast at said special maximum
property tax rate increase election on said measure were in favor of said
measure and said measure paSSed.
Passed and adopted this 19th day of March , 1975, by the following
vote:

Recorder of the County of Santa Clara, State of
California, do hereby certify that a Special Maximum
Tax Rate increase Election was held. on Tuesday, March
4, 1975, in the Manor Drive Park Maintenance District;
That the official canvass of the returns of said
election was conducted by the office of the Registrar
of Voters; and
That following is a full, true and correct state-
ment of the votes cast for and against said Measure.
