A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SARATOGA ACKNOWLEDGING EXECUTION OF
COOPERATION AGREEMENT AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION
OF AMENDMENT THERETO PURSUANT TO TITLE I OF THE
HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1974
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Saratoga has previously approved
execution of a Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement and Cooperation Agreement with
the County of Santa Clara in order to qualify it as an Urban County under Title I
of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974~ and
WHEREAS, pursuant to authorization granted by the City Council, the Mayor
did execute said Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement and Cooperation Agreement on
_ February 3. 1975 ; and
WHEREAS, HUD has made further requirements necessitating Amendment to
~oint Exercise of Powers Agreement and Cooperation Agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Saratoga
acknowledges execution, by the duly authorized Mayor, of Joint Exercise of Powers
Agreement and Cooperation Agreement with the County of Santa Clara upon the date
indicated above.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council approves the Amendment to
Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement and Cooperation Agreement with the County of
Santa Clara.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute
said Amendment to Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement and Cooperation Agreement on
. behalf of the City of Saratoga.
