HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 748 RESOLUTION NO. 748 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA CERTIFYING FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT WHEREAS, it has heretofore been determined that an Environmental Impact Report (hereafter called E.I.R.} is required for the following proposed project to wit: WHEREAS, a draft E.I.R. has heretofore been completed, and a Notice of Completion thereof has been filed with the Secretary of the Resources Agency of the State of California, and after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the said filing of said Notice of Completion, a proposed final E.I.R. has been prepared and presented to this body, which is the ultimate decision-making body in regard to the above-referred to project, and this body having fully considered said proposed final E.I.R., NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby resolves as fol 1 ows: That certain Environmental Impact Report dated the 16th day of December, 1974, and captioned as follows: FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT, duplicate original of which is on file in File No. CE-172 of this City, be and the same is hereby adopted and this body hereby certifies that the same has been completed in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970, as amended, the State Guidelines, and the applicable resolutions of this City, and it is further certified that this body has reviewed and considered all of the inform- ation contained in said Environmental Impact Report, and has reviewed and con- sidered the same prior to taking any final action on the hereinabove referred to proposed project. Furthermore, the Environmental Impact Report does speak to certain impacts such as flooding, geology, open space, scenic, and traffic, that may have an impact on the environment. At such time as this body does take action on said project, the Director of Planning and Environmental Control is hereby directed to cause the requisite Notice of Determination on said project to be filed with the County Clerk of Santa Clara County, within the applicable time limits. The above and foregoing resolution was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Saratoga at a regular meeting there- of held on the 1..st. day of October , 1975, by the following vote: AYES: Councilmen Bridge% Brigham, Kraus, Corr &Ma~eoni NOES: None ABSENT: MAYOR CITY
