A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SANTA CLARA COUNTY HOUSING
AUTHORITY TO ACT AS THE DESIGNATED AGENCY FOR THE CITY OF
SARATOGA TO APPLY FOR AND ADMINISTER SECTION 8 RENTAL HOUSING
SUPPLEMENTS PURSUANT TO THE HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
ACT OF 1974
WHEREAS, Section 8 of Title II of the Housing and
Community Development Act of 1974 allocates funds for rental housing
assistance; and
WHEREAS, the Santa Clara County Housing Authority is
currently administering one other housing program in the City of
Saratoga, and would be an appropriate agency to make application for
and administer the new rental housing assistance program in Saratoga,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Saratoga that'the Santa Clara County Housing Authority is hereby
authorized to act as the designated agency of the City of Saratoga
to apply for and administer rental housing assistance funds pursuant
to Section 8 of Title II of the Housing and Community Development Act of
1974.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Saratoga at a regular meeting held on
the 5tb day of November , 19...75 , by the following vote:
