RESOLUTION APPROVING ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
TERRITORY, DESIGNATED AS '~r~ EDEN ROAD 76-2"
TO THE CITY OF SARATOGA
The City Council of the City of Saratoga does hereby resolve as
fellows:
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Annexation of Un~Inhabited
Territory Act of 1939, and pursuant to Government Code Section 35310.1 of
said Act, a petition signed by all of the owners of all the land of the
territory hereinafter described and proposed to be annexed, has been filed.
with this City requesting the annexation of said described territory, and
W'MEREAS, the City Council hereby finds that the Local Agency Formation
Commission of the County of Santa Clara in a session duly assembled on the
5th day of May, 1976, did pass and adopt Resolution 76--96, properly approving
said proposed annexation and authorizing the City of Saratoga to proceed with
approval of said annexation without the necessity of notice and a hearing by
the City Council, and without any election, and
WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Saratoga and is
uninhabited territory in the County of Santa Clara, State of California,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Saratoga does hereby
approve the annexation of the territory hereinafter described to the City of
Saratoga, and does hereby declare that the territory be, and the same is hereby
annexed to the City of Saratoga. Said territory, the annexation of which is
hereby approved, is all that certain territory situated in the County of Santa
Clara, State of California, more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached
hereto, and incorporated herein by reference.
The above and foregoing Resolution was regularly passed and adopted
pursuant to Government Code of the State of California, by the City Council
of the City of Saratoga, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 12th day
of April , 1977, by the following vote:
