A RESOLUTION OF I"HE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SARATOGA COMMENDING
LLOYD C. FOWLER
WHEREAS, Lloyd C. Fowler, the Chief Engineer of Santa Clara
Valley Water D~strict, has been chosen to receive a singular and
important honor from the American Public Works Association and
the seven other organizations co-sponsoring National Public Works
Week; and
WHEREAS, such recognition is well deserved and it is appro-
priate that this City Council join therein;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Saratoga, that LLOYD C. FOWLER shall have the contrat-
ulations and best wishes of th]m body upon his selection as one
of the "Top Ten Public Works Men-of-the-Year" for 1977.
The above and foregoing resolution was adopted by the City
Council of the City of Saratoga at a regular meeting held on the
18 day of Ma~ , 1977, by the following vote:
