A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SARATOGA AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.
432, WHICH RESOLUTION CREATES THE PARKS
AND RECREATION COMMISSION
The City Council of the City of Saratoga does hereby
resolve as follows:
Section 1 and 2 of Resolution No. 432, heretofore passed
~nd adopted by this Council on the 15th day of May, 1968, are
hereby amend&d to read as follows:
Section 1: There is hereby established and created
a Parks and Recreation Commission of the City of Saratoga,
which shall be known as the Saratoga Parks and Recreation
Commission, and which shall consist of seven (7) members
to be appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the
City Council, which members shall serve at the pleasure
of the Council.
Section 2: Upon the first appointment of members
to the Parks and Recreation Commission, three (3) members
shall be appointed for a-term t6 expire in August 1980,
and four (4) members for a term to expire in August, 1982.
Thereafter, successors to the first members shall each
be appointed for four-year terms.
The above and foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and passed by the City Council of the City of
Saratoga ~t a regular meeting thereof held on the 18th day of
October , 1978 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Kalb, Matteoni, Callon, Kraus &Corr
NOES: None
