RESOLUTION ABANDONING PORTION OF
PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT
WHEREAS, it appearing that the hereinafter described portion of a
public utility easement is no longer necessary for the purpose intended and
has not been in use for the past twelve (12) months, and the City Council
of the City of Saratoga being so advised and good cause appearing,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the hereinafter described por-
tion of easement be and the same is hereby abandoned, save and except
therefrom for the purpose of wire clearance. Said portion so abandoned
as above referred to is described as follows:
That certain portion of land situated in the City of Saratoga,
County of Santa Clara, State of California, more particularly
described as follows:
Commencing at the northewesterly corner of Lot 160 as shown on that
certain map of Tract No. 1489, recorded on July 12, 1955, in Book
59 of Maps at Pages 30 ~nd 31, Santa Clara County Recorder's Office;
thence running south 86 52' East 5.01 feet along the northerly line
said Lot 160 to the True Point of Beginning; thence running south
17' 45" East 121.12 feet along the easterly line of the Public
Utility Easement, as shown on said Lot 160, to the northwesterly
corner Lot 161, as shown on that previously described Tract No. 1489;
said point also lying on the southerly line of said Lot ~60;
thence along said southerly lot line of Lot 160 North 76 59' 32"
West 8.95 feet; thence, leaving said southerly lot line of Lot 160,
and running North 6 21' 35" West 43.64 feet; thence, running parallel
with an~ 5.00 feet easterly of the westerly lot line of Lot 160,
North 0 12' 30" East 75.00 feet to the True Point of Beginning.
The above and foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and
thereafter passed and adopted on the 15 day of March , 197~.,
by the following vote at a regular City Council Meeting of the City of
Saratoga.
