RESOLUTION NO. 889-V
A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO MAKE CHANGES AND MODIFICATIONS
VILLAGE PARKING DISTRICT NO. 4
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Saratoga, California,
that the public interest, convenience and necessity require, and that
it is the intention of said Council to change and modify the proceedings
undertaken pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 889-C to Acquire and
Construct Improvements adopted on February 7, 1979, as amended, by
increasing the maximum interest rate at which serial bonds to represent
unpaid assessments will be issued in said proceedings from eight percent
(8%) per annum to ten percent (10%) per annum.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Wednesday, the 6th day of August,
1980, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock p.m., in the regular meeting place of
said Council, Council Chambers, City Hall, 13777 Fruitvale Avenue,
Saratoga, California, be, and the same are hereby, appointed and fixed
as the time and place when and where said Council will consider the
matter of making said change and modification and hearing all persons
interested therein.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Director of Public Works of said
City be, and he is hereby, designated as the person to answer inquiries
regarding any protest proceedings to be had herein, and may be
contacted during regular office hours at the City Hall, 13777 Fruitvale
Avenue, Saratoga, California 95070 or by calling (408) 867-3438.
The City Clerk of said City be, and he is hereby directed to
cause a copy of this resolution to be published once in the Saratoga
News, a newspaper published and circulated in said County, there being
no newspaper published in said City, and the newspaper in which the
Notice of Improvement under said Resolution of Intention, as amended,
was published; said publication to be at least ten (10) days before
said day of hearing.

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true and correct
copy of a resolution duly passed and adopted by the City Council of the
City of Saratoga, California, at a meeting thereof held on the 16th day
of July, 1980, by the following vote of the members thereof:
AYES, and in favor thereof, Councilmen: Linda Callon,
Martha Clevenger, John Mallory, Cheriel Jensen, Dale Watson.
NOES, Councilmen: None
ABSENT, Councilmen:
