A RESOLUTION COMMENDING FRED LUSTIG
WHEREAS, Fred Lustig has served both the residents and
the City of Saratoga as a member of the Planning Commission since
March of 1975; and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Lustig has assumed an active leadership
role in maintaining the unique flavour and architectural character
of new construction within the community by serving as Chairman
of the Design Review Committee and as alternate to the Planning
Policy Committee; and
WHEREAS, Fred is responsible for the creation and imple-
mentation of a special zoning classification within the City,
that being MB R-I-20,000 which accomodates the placement of an
antique Mercedes Benz vehicle within the family room of an existing
single family residential structure inclusive of appropriate set-
backs; and
WHEREAS, over the past four years Commissioner Lustig has
expressed those concerns and values which he felt to be significant
in the maintenance and retention of Saratoga's unique character;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the
City of Saratoga does hereby extend its sincere thanks and
appreciation to Fred Lustig for his service to the Saratoga Community
as a City Planning Commissioner.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Saratoga held on the 7th day of February ,
1979, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Kraus, Corr, Callon, Matteoni, & Kalb
NOES: None
ABSENT: None J
