RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ABANDON A
PORTION OF KIRKMONT DRIVE
The City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby resolves as
follows:
Section 1: Pursuant to Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California, the City
Council of the City of Saratoga hereby declares its intention to order
the vacation and abandonment of a portion of Kirkmont Drive and of a
portion of a Public Service Easement (P.S.E.), more particularly de-
scribed as follows:
That certain portion of street known as Kirkmont Drive and
Public Service Easement located at its intersection with
Saratoga/Sunnyvale Road and adjacent to Lots 67 and 69, as
shown and delineated on that certain Map of Tract No. 6508
recorded on February 8, 1979 in Book 435 of Maps, at Pages
22, 23, and 24, Santa Clara County Records, and which is
more particularly described on the attached Exhibit "A"
and shown on the attached Exhibit "B". Reserving, however,
from such vacation and abandonment, the exceptions described
on said attached Exhibit "A" and shown on said attached
Exhibit "B".
Section 2: The 15th day of August , 1979, at the
hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m., at the Council Chambers of
the City Council, City Hall, Fruitvale Avenue, Saratoga, California, is
hereby fixed as the time and place for hearing all persons interested in
or objecting to the proposed vacation and abandonment above set forth.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Saratoga at a regular meeting held on the
1st day of August , 1979 by the following vote:

said Point Of Beginning also being on the boundary of Lot 67 of

the boundary of said Lot 67 along a tangent curve to the left with
a radius of 20.00 feet thru a central angle of 87° 37' 15" for an
arc length of 30.59 feet; thence S. 31°31' 06" W. 58.31 ft. to a
point on a line parallel with a distant 5Q.00 ft. Easterly, measured
at right.angles~from the centerline of Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road as
shown on said Tract-No. 6508;. thence leaving the boundary of said
Lot 67 along'said parallel line N. 0°33' 16" E., 39.16 ft.; thence
leaving said parallel line Along a tangent curve to the right with
a radius of 30.00 ft. thru a central angle of 87° 37' 15" for an
arc length of 45.88 ft; thence N. 88° 10' 31" E., 20.43 ft. to the
Point Of Beginning.

All that certain real property situate in the City of Saratoga,

said Point Of Beginning, also being on the boundary of Lot 69 of
said Tract No. 6508; thence leaving .said Point Of Beginning along
the boundary of said Lot 69 along 'a tangent curve to the right with
a radius of 20.00 ft. thru a central angle of 90~ 22' 45" for an arc
length of 32.25 ft.; thence N. 30~ 24" 34" W., 58.31 ft. to a point
on a line parallel with and distant 50.00 ft. Easterly, measured at

a map of which was filed for record in Book 435 of Maps, at Pages 22,
23, and 24, Santa Clara County Records;thence leaving said Point Of
Beginning along the. Westerly line 6f said Lot 67 N. 0° 33' 16" E.,
201.81 ft.; thence N. 31° 31' 06" E., 19.44 ft. to a point on a line
.parallel with and distant 60.00 ft. Easterly, measured at right angles,
from the centerline of Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road as shown on said Tract
No. 6508, said point being the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING of the parcel
herein being described; thence leaving said TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING
along said parallel line S. 0° 33' 16" W., 19.44 ~t.to a point on a
line parallel with and distant 10,00 ft. Southeasterly, measured at
right angles, from said Westerly line of Lot 67~ thence leaving said

to the right with a radius of 20.00 ft. thru a central angle of 60900'
for an arc length of 20.95 ft. to a point on a line parallel with and
distant 10.00 ft. Northerly, measured at right angles, from said
northerly line of Kirkmont Drive, said point being 'the TRUE POINT OF
