RESOLUTION 929
A RESOLUTION COMHENDING BILLIE OLSON
~mEREAS, Billie Olson has served as President of the Saratoga
Sunset Club since 1976, exhibiting tremendous dedication to the 140
members of the club and the Saratoga Community; and
~ìEREAS, Billie exemplifies the spirit of unselfish giving and
for four years has committed her time and energy to the Sunset Club; and
vlliEREAS, Billie has served faithfully as coordinator for the
Christmas and Thanksgiving luncheons, summer picnics, pot lucks , and
fundraisersj and
vlliEREAS, Billie has planned and organized the Senior Citizen
dances since their conception and monthly she continues to follow
through with all the small details to make these dances successful;
and
'.ffiEREAS, Billie has felt a sense of responsibility toward the
total well-being of the Senior Citizens in the community and she pro-
vided outstanding leadership and assistance to all who needed it.
HOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Saratoga, does hereby extend it's thanks to Billie Olson for her
many years of volunteer service to the Senior Citizens of the community.
The above and foregoing resolution was adopted by the City Council
of the City of Saratoga at a regular meeting held on the 5th day of
December, 1979, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Kraus, Corr & Callon
NOES: None
