RESOLUTION NO. 932
RESOLUTION ABANDONING PORTION
OF PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT
WHEREAS, it appearing that the hereinafter described portion
of a public utility easement is no longer necessary for the purpose
intended and has not been in use for the past twelve (12) months,
and the City Council being so advised and good cause appearing,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the hereinafter described
portion of easement be and the same is hereby abandoned. Said
portion so abandoned as above referred to is all that certain portion
of public utility easement located in the City of Saratoga, County
of Santa Clara, State of California described as follows:
Beginning at the most westerly corner of Lot 7 as shown
on that certain tract map of Tract No. 3742 IIGeorgetown -
Unit No.1" recorded in the office of the Santa Clara
County Recorder on May 28, 1964 in Book 179 of Maps at
Pages 22 and 23¡ thence running along the northwesterly
lot line of said Lot 7 North 61° 561 10" East 9.42 feet
to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING¡ thence from said true
point of beginning continuing along said northwesterly
lot line of Lot 7 North 61° 56' 10" East 2.35 feet; thence
leaving said northwesterly lot line of Lot 7 and running
parallel to the southwesterly lot line of said Lot 7,
South 59° 55' 06" East 140.88 feet to the southeasterly
lot line of said Lot 7¡ thence running along said south-
easterly lot line of Lot 7 South 24° 51' 5011 West 2.01
feet; thence leaving said southeasterly lot line of Lot 7
and running parallel to the southwesterly lot line of
said Lot 7, North 59° 55' 06" West 142.30 feet to the
TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
Reserving, however, a wire clearance easement (W.C.E.) on said
strip of land.
The above and foregoing resolution was regularly introduced
and thereafter passed and adopted on the 19th day of December, 1979,
by the following vote at a regular City Council Meeting of the
City of Saratoga.
