RESOLUTION NO. 981
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA
CONCURRING IN AN AMENDMENT TO THE SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT PLAN
FOR SANTA CLARA COUNTY FOR THE PROPOSED HELLYER CANYON LANDFILL
WHEREAS, the Solid Waste Management Plan for Santa Clara County has
been previously submitted to and approved by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Saratoga has reviewed a
proposed amendment to the Plan entitled "Hellyer Canyon Landfill, Poten-
tial Site," and
WHEREAS, the City Council concurs with the need for the amendment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Saratoga hereby approved the aforementioned amendment; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed to forward
a certified copy of this Resolution to the Santa Clara County Board of
Supervisors.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted on the
17th day of December
, 1980, at a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Saratoga by the following vote:
