RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF A CiAIM WITH
THE ~I~O~I~ TRANSPORTATION CCI~{ISSION FOR
AI.~OCATION OF TRANSPORTATION DEVEIDP~RqT ACT FUNDS
FOR FISCAL YEAR 1981-1982.
WHEREAS, the Transportation Development Act (TDA), as amended (Public
Utilities Code Sections 99200 et. seq. ), provides for the disbursement of
funds from the Local Transportation FLnd of the County of Santa Clara for
use by eligible claimants for the purpose of providing a coordinated, com-
munity transit service (paratransit) program; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the TDA, as an~nded, and pursuant
to the applicable rules and regulations thereLnder (21 Cal~ Admin. Code
Sections 6600 et. seq. ) and a prospective claimant wishing to receive an
allocation from the Local Transportation Fund shall file its claim with the
Metropolitan Transportation Conmission; and
WHEREAS, TDA funds from the Local Transportation Fund of Santa Clara
County will be required by claimant in Fiscal year 1981-1982 for $59,850.00;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that Linda Callon, ~yor, is authorized to execute and
file an appropriate claim pursuant to the terms of the Transportation Devel-
opfront Act, as amended, and pursuant to applicable rules and regulations
promulgated thereunder, together with all necessary supporting docunents,
with the Metropolitan Transportation Conmission for an allocation of TDA fLnnds
in Fiscal Year 1981-1982; and be it further
RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution be transmitted to the Metropol-
itan Transportation Conmission in conjunction with the filing of the claim;
and the ~tropolitan Transportation Conmission be requested to grant the
allocations of funds as specified herein.
