RESOLUTION NO. 1029
WHEREAS, on October 22, 1981, the City of Saratoga celebrates its twenty-fifth
anniversary of incorporation; a~,
WHERFAS, the members of the City Council desire that all residents will
ocam~morate this auspicious occasion in a happy, fun-filled manner of celebrating
Saratoga ' s tradition and history; and,
WHEREAS, a ccamlittee of prcminent citizens has planned, prepared, and organized
a month of activities and events to help celebrate this occasion,
NOW, BE IT T}EREFORE RESOLVED, that the members of the City Council express
their congratulations and good wishes to all of the citizens of Saratoga on this
occasion of ~rating t~enty-five years of hcme rule cityhood.
BE IT FII~f}ER RESOLVED, that th~ City Council proclaims October 22, as the
official birthday of the City of Saratoga and en(xxirages all citizens to enjoy and
participate in the activities and events planned to ccm~mm~orate this joyous day.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Saratoga held on the second day of September, 1981.
