RESOLUTION NO. 1036
WHEREAS, it is important to all Saratogans that our citizens
enjoy the benefits of good health and a full life; and
WHEREAS, better hearing is of special concern to Saratoga's
senior citizens, for whom hearing loss is often an undetected
problem; and
WHEREAS, the Center for Hearing Health will be giving free
pure tone air conduction tests by appointment at the Saratoga
Community Center between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on October 30,
1981; and
WHEREAS, the Saratoga City Council wishes to encourage all
senior citizens who may benefit to make an appointment for the
20-minute hearing test by calling 867-3438, extension 45.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Friday, October 30 is
proclaimed "Better Hearing Day" for the senior citizens of
Saratoga.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a
regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Saratoga
held on the 7th day of (~ , 1981, by the following vote:
