RESOLUTION NO. 1044
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SARATOGA CONCERNING
THE OPENING OF THE NEW POST OFFICE
WHEREAS, the U. S. Postal Service is opening a new Saratoga Post Office in
November,'1981; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds the structure and design of the facility
to be aesthetically pleasing and sensitive to the character and needs of the
Saratoga community; and
WHEREAS, Saratoga Postmaster, Robert Graves, has spent long hours in
working with the City, residents, and U. S. Postal Service representatives in
order to produce a design that meets the needs and concerns of residents.
NOW,BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that Saratoga Postmaster, Robert Graves and
the U. S. Postal Service are congratulated on the opening of the new Saratoga
Post Office and hereby commended for their work and efforts on behalf of the
community.
The above and foregoing resolution was regularly passed and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Saratoga at a regular meeting thereof held on the
4th day of ......November.. , lgBl, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Clevenger, Jensen, Mallory, Watson, Mayor Callon
