RESOLUTION NO. 997
1\ RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL 01:
THE CITY OF SARATOGA ENDORSING THE
STATE HISTORICAL BUILDING CODE
WHEREAS, the new State Historical Building Code, Title
24, Part 8, has been developed by the State to protect public
health and safety while also allowing flexibility in the restora-
tion of recyclable structures; and
WI-IERE:AS, the Code alloh's local building officials latitude
concerning maintenance and rehabilitation of historical buildings;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of
the City of Saratoga hereby declares its support of the State
Historical Building Code.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City COllncil
of the City of Saratoga this 4th day of March, 1981, hy the
