A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SARATOGA DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE ELECTION
OF MEMBERS TO THE CITY COUNCIL AT THE ELECTION
OF JUNE 8, 1982
WHEREAS, a General Municipal Election for members of the
City Council of the City of Saratoga was conducted on June 8, 1982
consolidated with the California Primary Election held on that same
date; and
WHEREAS, the results of that election are duly certified by
the Santa Clara County Registrar of Voters, a copy of the official
canvass of ballots cast in the election being attached hereto as
Exhibit "A", and
WHEREAS, the City Council now meets at its regular meeting
place on this, the first Tuesday following the certification of the
results;
NOW, THEREFOKE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council hereby
declares elected to full terms of office the following members of
the City Council:
Linda Callon
David Moyles
Virginia Laden Fanelli
replacing those members whose terms now expire; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council determines the
results of the election tQ be as shown on Exhibit A attached to and
a Dart of this Resolution, and that the City Clerk is directed to
enter these results in the official records of the City of Saratoga,
Passed and adopted this 29th day of June, 1982, at a special called
meeting of the City Council by the following vote:
AYES: Councils Clevenger, Jensen, Mallory, Watson and Mayor Callon
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: None
ABSENT: None

I, GeorgeA. Mann, Registrar of Voters and Recorder
of the County of Santa Clara, State of California, do hereby
certify that at the Primary Election held on June 8, 1982, a
General Municipal Election consolidated t~erewith was held
in the City of Saratoga for the purpose of electing or nomin-
ating Members of the City Council.
That the official canvass of the returns of said
election was conducted by the office of the Registrar of
Voters in accordance with the appropriate provisions of the
Elections Code of the State of California; and
That hereto attached is a full, true and correct
statement of the votes cast at said General Municipal Election.
