A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA
EXTENDING THE INITIAL EXPIRATION DATE OF TENTATIVE
SUBDIVISION MAPS APPROVED OR CONDITIONALLY APPROVED
PRIOR TO JANUARY 1, 1982.
WHEREAS, effective January 1, 1982, California Govern-
ment Code Section 66452.6(a) was amended to mandate an increase in
the initial expiration dates of approved or conditionally approved
tentative subdivision maps to 24 months from the date of said
approval or conditional approval; and
WHEREAS, the City of Saratoga shall amend Ordinance No.
NS-60, the Subdivision Ordinance of the City of Saratoga, to bring
said ordinance into conformity with the aforementioned amendment
to California Government Code Section 66452.6(a) by extending the
initial expiration date of approved or conditionally approved
tentative subdivision maps to 24 months from the date of said
approval or conditional approval, or the date on which the City
Council ruled on any appeal of the advisory agency's approval or
conditional approval; and
WHEREAS, the City of Saratoga has determined that all
approved and conditionally approved tentative subdivision maps
which were viable under their initial 18 month expiration dates as
of January 1, 1982, should be subject to the new 24 month initial
expiration dates applicable to tentative subdivison maps approved
or conditionally approved on and after January 1, 1982:
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE that all tentative subdivision maps approved or condi-
tionally approved prior to January 1, 1982, for an initial period
of 18 months, and which were still viable under said initial 18
month approval or conditional approval as of January 1, 1982,
shall have their initial expiration date extended to 24 months
from the date of their original approval or conditional approval,
or the date on which the City Council ruled on any appeal of the
advisory agency's original approval or conditional approval.
