A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA APPRDVING A
GRAME DE~D FOR A PORTION OF LOT 7, BIDCK 6, BOOK A, MAP PAGE 43,
SANTA CLARA COUNTY RECDRDS TO FLDYD F. AND ~T,T A J. GAINES
~, ~ City Council previously has approved settlenent of litigation with
Floyd F. and Arvilla J. Gaines concerning agreement for use of lands owned by
Gaines for Parking Improverent District No. 4; and
WHEREAS, said settlement included transfer of title for City-owned property
described as a portion of Lot 7, Block 6, Book A, Map Page 43, Santa Clara County
Records, more particularly described in the Grant Deed attached hereto as Exhibit A.
NOW, THEREFORE, RE IT RESOLVED, that a Grant Deed, a copy of which is attached
hereto marked Exhibit A, be and hereby is approved and that the Mayor is hereby
authorized to execute said Grant Deed on behalf of the City of Saratoga.
The above ard foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Saratoga on the 1st day of September ,
1982, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Clevenger, Moyles, and Mayor Callon

of Oak Street, said point of intersection is also the most

Santa Clara Co~ty Records; Thence from said point, running
along the southwesterly line of said Lot 7 and the north-
easterly line of said Fourth Street a distance of 75 fe~t
to the TRUE POINT OF, BEGINNING; Thence from said TR~ POINT
OF BEGINNING running along said southwesterly line of Lot
7 and northeasterly line of Fourth Street, northwesterly
15 feet to a point that is 75 feet southeasterly from the
most westerly corner of said Lot 7; Thence northeasterly
along a line parallel to the nor~westerly line of said
Lot 7 for ~.distance of 50 feet to a point on the north-
