RESOLUTION ORDERING ABATEMENT OF A PUBLIC NUISANCE
BY REMOVAL OF HAZARDOUS WEEDS
WHEREAS, the Saratoga City Council has declared hazardous weeds growing
on certain properties to be a public nuisance by resolution dated '
Dec~ 1, 1982; and
WHEREAS, the County Building Official did give notice to all property
owners of lar~t on which hazardous weeds which have been declared a
public nuisance are growing~
WHEREAS, a public hearing on said notice was held on December 15, 1982;
WHEREAS, final action on any protests or objections to the proposed
removal of weeds has keen made by the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERF~ that the County Building Official shall
cause the abatement of hazardous weeds as designated by resolution
dated December 1~ 1982, by having said ~.~ds destroyed or renoved,
and any property owner shall have the right to destroy or rerove such
weeds himself, or have the san~ destroyed or removed at his own expense,
provided that such weeds shall have been removed prior to the arrival
of the County Building Official or his authorized representative to
remove them.
The above and forego_ ing resolution was passed and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Saratoga at a regular meeting held on the 15th
day of December, 1982, by the follc~ing vote:
AYES; Councils Clevenger, Fanelli, Moyles, and Mayor Callon
NOES: None
