RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA
PNDCLA/MING THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY 1983 AS ~ RELATIONS MONTH
WHEREAS, the County of Santa Clara is enriched by a diverse multi-cultural,
multi-ethnic population, and
WHEREAS, this County is cc~mitted to the respect for hunan rights of all people
and to positive hunan relationships between all the residents of the County
and the ~Drld, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of Saratoga desires to be an advocate for the human
rights of al people and to pronote peace and harmony in the cc~nunity.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Saratoga of Santa Clara County
that it hereby proclaims the month of February 1983 as
HIMAN RELATIONS MONTH
and calls upon the residents of the County to join in the spirit and activities
of this month.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the City Council
of the City of Saratoga at a regular meeting held on the 16th day of February,
1983, by the following vote:
AYES: Councils Clevenger, Fanelli, Mallory, and Mayor Callon
NOES: None
ABSENT: Counci~ Moyles
