RESOLUTION RELATIVE TO SCIENCE FAIR WEEK
WHEREAS, a group of dedicated citizens and educators
will be producing an exciting Science and Engineering Fair the
second week of April; and
WHEREAS, this Science and Engineering Fair will be
held for the benefit of our young people, their parents and
teachers, in order to stimulate interest in the various aspects
of the sciences; and
WHEREAS, this event will direct public attention
towards the field of science by setting aside a time for creative
participation on the part of sixth through twelfth grade students;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the week of April
11 through 16 is proclaimed as
"SCIENCE FAIR WEEK"
within our City. All residents, particularly our young people,
are urged to take part in the observation of this event through
their active participation.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a
2nd
regular meeting of the Saratoga City Council on the day
of March, 1983, by unanimous vote:
