RESOLUTION NO-2052-A
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING ATTORNEYS
TO CONDUCT PROPOSED ANNEXATION TO
CITY OF SARATOGA LANDSCAPING AND
LIGHTING DISTRICT LLA-1
RESOLVED, by the City Coundil of the City of Saratoga,
California, that
WHEREAS, thlS'Co~ncil has determined to .Undertake proceedings
for the annexation of territory to an existing assessment district
pursuant to the provisions of the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972
and for the construction or installation of improvements in said
territory, including the maintenance or servicing, or both, thereof; and
WHEREAS, the public interest and general welfare will be served
by appointing and employing attorneys for the preparation and conduct
of said proceedings;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
1. That the law firm of WILSON MORTON ASSAF & McELLIGOTT, San
Mateo, California, be, and it is hereby, appointed and employed to do
and perform all legal services required in the conduct of said
proceedings, and that its compensation be, and it is hereby fixed at
not to exceed $2,500.00.

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true and correct
copy of a resolution duly passed and adopted by the City Council of the
City of Saratoga, California, at a meeting thereof held on the 20th
day of April , 1983 , by the following vote of the members

All that certain property situated in the City of Saratoga, County of Santa Clara,
State of California, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwesterly corner of that certain tract entitled "Tract
No. 5944" which tract map was recorded on May 9, 1977 in Book 395 of Maps at
pages 21 and 22 Santa Clara County Records; said point of beginning is also the
point of intersection thereof with the easterly line of Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road and
the southwesterly line of the lands of Pacific Gas and Electric Company as shown
on said map of Tract No. 5944; thence from said point of beginning South 59°
55' 08" East 1,158.35 feet, along said lands of Pacific Gas and Electric Company,
to the Northeasterly corner of said Tract No. 5944; thence South 47° 23' 44"

tangency with the easterly line of SaratogaSunnyvale Road as shown on that map
of Tract No. 5944; thence along said easterly line of Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road
North 0° 57' 40" East 95.85 feet; thence North 0~ 49' 20" East 620.64 feet to
the point of tangency with a curve to the left, having a radius of 3,039 feet;
thence running along said curve to the left through a central angle of
6° 30' ll" for an arc length of 344.93 feet to a point of tangency; thence
North 5° 40' 51" West 178.56 feet to the point of tangency with a curve to the
right, having a radius of 2,963 feet, thence along said curve to the right
through acentral angle of 2° 36' 33" for an arc length of 134.93 feet; thence
running North O0° 49' 20" East 211.86 feet to the p~int of beginning.
