A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA AUTHORIZING
WORKERS COMPENSATION INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR
DESIGNATED CITY OF SARATOGA VOLUNTEERS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Saratoga has formally
supported the development of a Volunteer Program provided through
contract by the Volunteer Center of Santa Clara County, and
WHEREAS, the City of Saratoga desires to provide Workers
Compensation Insurance for designated City of Saratoga volunteers in
order to protect against on the job injury claims.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby
authorize the City Manager to secure Workers Compensation Insurance
for designated City of Saratoga Volunteers.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of Saratoga on the 15th day
of June , 1983, by the following vote:
AYES: CounciLmenkers Clevenger, Fanelli, Mallory, Moyles, Mayor Callon
