RESOLITfION OF THE CITY CDIA~CIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA
INCREASING APPROPRIATIC~S A~D AMENDING THE 1983-84 FISCAL YEAR BUDGET
WHEREAS, Congress has authorized and appropriated additional funds to local
governments, through the Housing and C~a~'~nity Development Block Grant Program,
for the purpose of stimulating the ecornmy and creating jobs; and
WHEREAS, the Council has considered allocation of the funds to various projects
and, by the vDte Of 4-1 (Mayor Moyles dissenting), approved the allocation of
all of these monies to the Elva Avenue Improvements; and
WHEREAS, the follc~ing adjustments are needed to increase the appropriations in
the 1983-84 budget for the HCD Program, in order to utilize these additional monies.
NOW, TPF/~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the budget of the City of Saratoga adopted
by resolution 2073 be amerded as follows:
Transfer:
$77,500.00 from general ledger account 35-2900, H.C.D. fund balance
available to general ledger account 35-2940 H.C.D. Appropriation
Subs idiary:
Fund 35 - H.C.D.
Project 916 - Elv~ Avenue Improvements
To reconstruct and improve the storm drainage facilities on Elva Avenue.
The above ard foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a regular meeting
of the Saratoga City Council held on the 20th day of JulY , 1983, by the
following vote:
AYES: Councils Callon, Clevenger, Mallory and Mayor Callon
NOES: None
ABSENT: Counci~ Fanelli .~~.~
