RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SARATOGA~UPHOLDING A DECISION OF THE PLANNING
COMMISSION AND DENYING DESIGN REVIEW FOR A-898
WHEREAS, the applicant, Fox and Carskadon, has requested
Design Review Approval for a freestanding sign; and
WHEREAS, on August 10, 1983, the Planning Commission re-
viewed and considered applicant's request for Design Review Approval
and after said review denied said request; and
WHEREAS, applicant has appealed the Planning Commission's
decision to the City Council; and
WHEREAS, on September 21, 1983, the City Council held a
meeting and reviewed and considered the applicant's request, staff
reports, and other evidence, both written and oral, presented to
the Council during said meeting;
~, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Saratoga at
its September 21, 1983, meeting by a unanimous vote by Councilmembers
Callon, Clevenger, Fanelli, Mallory and Moyles did resolve as follows:
1. The applicant's appeal from the Planning Commission was
denied and the decision of the Planning Commission was upheld.
2. Design Review Approval for A-898 was denied.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at
a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Saratoga held
on the 5th day of October, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmenbets Clevenger, Mallory and Mayor Moyles
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilmembers Callon and Fanelli
