Council on Aging's A~visory Council since January of 1982, and she has
resigned because of family cormli~ts, and
~REAS, Mrs. Gordon deserves our sincere thanks for her two years of dedicated
service to the senior citizens of Saratoga, and
WHEREAS, she bas added these two years of service to many previous years of effort
on behalf of many groups and the citizens as a whole, which were recognized by her
selection in 1981 as Saratoga Citizen of the Year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT
is heartily thanked for her service to the County Council on Aging' s Advisory
Council. The Saratoga City Council hopes that, while she enjoys her husband' s recent
retirement, she will spare som~ time to lend her invaluable presence in various
conlnunity affairs.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the Saratoga City
Council at a regular meeting held on the 18th day of January, 1984, by the following
vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Callon, Clevenger, Fanelli, Mallory, and Mayor Moyles
NOES: None
ABSENT: Nene
