A RESOLFfION OF THE CITY OOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA TO CONSOLIDATE ITS
JUNE 1984 ~CTION WITH T~E STATEWIDE PRIMARY
WHEREAS, a General Municipal election will beheld on Tuesday, June 5, 1984, in
the City of Saratoga, and;
WHEREAS, a primary election may be ordered to be held in another political
subdivision on the sane territory, or in territory that is in part the sa~e; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Part 2.5 of Division 14 of the California Elections Code,
this election may be consolidated with the General Municipal Election.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Saratoga
requests the Governing Body of any such other political subdivision to partially
or ccmpletely consolidate said elections and to further provide that the canvass
be made by any body or official authorized by law to canvass the returns of the
election, and
[~ IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Saratoga City Council consents to such consolida-
tion.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted ~y the City Council
of the City of Saratoga at a regular meeting held on the 15th day of 'February, 1984,
by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmenbe~s Callon, Clevenger, Fanelli, Mallory and Mayor MDyles
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: None
