DECIARINGTHE RESULTS OF TaE~.~/ZI~NOFM~4BERSTOTHE CITY COLA~CIL
AT THERL~CIIC~CF JUNE 5, 1984
WHERFAS, a General Municipal Election for members of the City Council of the City
of Saratoga was conducted on June 5, 1984, consolidated with the California Primary
Election held on that sane date; and
WHEREAS, the results of that election are duly certified by the Santa Clara County
Registrar of Voters, a copy of the official canvass of ballots cast in the election
being attached here as Exhibit "A," and
WHEREAS, the City Council now meets on this, the first Tuesday, following the
certificaticm of the results.
NOW, THEREFORE, ME. IT RESOLVED that the City Council hereby declares elected to
full terms of office the follc~ing members of the City Council:
Martha Clevenger
Joyce Hlava
replacing those menhers whose terms nc~ e~pire; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council determines the results of the election
to he as shown on Exhibit A attached to and made a part of this Resolution, and
that the City Clerk is'directed to enter these results in the official records
of the City of Saratoga.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a regular adjourned
meeting of the Saratoga City Council held on the 19th day of June, 1984, by the
following vote:
AYES: Councils Callon, 'Clevenger, Fanelli, Mallory and Mayor M0yles

I, George A. Mann, Registrar of Voters and Recorder
of the County of Santa Clara, State of California, do hereby
certify that at the Primary Election held on June 5, 1984, a
General Municipal Election consolidated therewith was held
in the City of Saratoga for the purpose of electing or nomin-
ating Members of the City Council;
That the official canvass of the returns of said
election was conducted by the office of the Registrar of
Voters in accordance with the appropriate provisions of the
Elections Code of the State of California; and
That hereto attached is a full, true and correct
statement of the votes cast at said General Municipal Election.

AMENDMENT TO
STIPULATION FOR SETTLEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT, by and between HEBER N. TEERLINK~ ERMA D.
TEERLINK, GERARD & LAMBERT, INC., a California corporation, as general partner
of Teerlink Ranch, Ltd., a California limited partnership, and the CITY OF
SARATOGA, a municipal corporation ("City"), is made with reference to the following
facts:
A. All of the parties hereto have executed that certain Stipulation for
Settlement relating to the action pending in the United States District Court for the
Northern District of California, entitled Teerlink v. City of Saratoga, Case No.
C 83 20268 ("the Lawsuit"}.
B. The parties have agreed to amend the Stipulation for Settlement as
hereinafter set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is mutually agreed as follows:
1. Notwithstanding the provisions of Paragraph 3 of the Stipulation for
Settlement, no final unconditional dismissal of the Lawsuit shall be filed until the first
to occur of the following events:
(a) Design review approval and building permits having been
granted by the City for single family residences to be
constructed upon at least 17lots within Tract No. 6781; or
(b) The expiration of three years from the date on which final
subdivision map approval for Tract 6781 is granted by the City.
2. Except as herein modified, the Stipulation for Settlement is declared
to be in full force and effect.
3. This Agreement may be filed with the court in the Lawsuit but no
order hereon shall be required.
