A RESOLUTICN OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA TO CCNSOLIDATE ITS
NOVEMBER 1984 ~.RCTICN WITH THE STA~EWIDE GENERAL ~.RCTION
WHEREAS, a Special Municipal election will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 1984,
in the City of Saratoga, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Part 2.5 of Division 14 of the California Elections Code, this
election may be consolidated with the Statewide General Election.
NCW, THEREFORE, RE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Saratoga requests
the Board of Supervisors of Santa. Clara County to partially or ccmpletely consolidate
said elections and to further provide that the canvass he made by any body or official
authorized by law to c~nvass the returns of the election, and
HE IT ~ RESOLVED that the Saratoga City Council consents to such consolidation.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Saratoga at a regular meeting beld on the 18thday of July , 1984,
by the follc~ing vote:
AYES: Counciln~s Callon, Clevenger, Hlava, Foyles and Mayor Fanelli
