~ING RICHARD DRAKE FOR SERVICE
ON THE FINANCE ADVISORY COMMITI!Z
WHEREAS, Richard Drake has been Chair of the Saratoga Finance Advisory
Ommittee sinoe its inception in November, 1981, and
WHEREAS, the Saratoga City Council wishes to acknowledge Dick' s unique
contributions as leader of this irmportant cclnmittee, and
WHEREAS, these contributions include work on such difficult and time-
consunling projects as review of City surplus property; review of garbage
collection rates; and review of Village Parking District #3, and
WHEREAS, in addition to these specific projects, Dick has been a driving
force in the acccmplishment of the ccnmLittee's goals in general.
NCN, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that
RICHARD DRAKE
is hereby ceded for his years of service as member and Chair of the
Finance Advisory Conmit~. His untiring enthusiasm and commi~t to
thorough and accurate performance of the ccnlnit~'s tasks has been a
~Drthy mcdel for any ccmmissioner.
The edzove and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a re~l..ar
meeting of the City Council of the City of Saratoga held on the 6th
day of February , 1985, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Callon, Clevenger, Hlava, Moyles and Mayor Fanelli
