A RESOLUTION O1~ THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SARATOGA DECLARINGTM ITS MENTION TO ADOPT A
MERGER ORDINANCE AND FIXING A TIME AND PLACE
FOR A PUBLIC HEARING THEREON
WHEREAS, the subdivision ordinance of the City of Saratoga does not
presently contain any provision for the merger of nonconforming parcels, as authorized
under Article 1.5 of the State Subdivision Map Act, consisting of Government Code
Sections 66451.1[} through 66451.21; and
WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City Council to adopt such merger
ordinance,
NOW, THEREInORE, the City Council of the City of Saratoga does hereby
resolve as follows:
1. The City Council does hereby declare its intention to adopt an
ordinance providing for the merger of parcels pursuant to the authority granted under
Article 1.5 of the Subdivision Map Act, as contained in Government Cede Sections
66451.10 through 66451.21.
2. As required under Government Code Section 66451.21, a public
hearing for the consideration of such merger ordinance is hereby scheduled to be
conducted at the regular meeting of the City Council on August 21, 1985, commencing
at 7:00 p.m., in the City Council Chambers located at 13777 Fruitvale Avenue,
Saratoga, California, at which time any person interested in said ordinance will be
given the opportunity to be heard.
3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to publish a copy of this resolution
in the manner required by law at least seven days prior to the date of the public
hearing.

Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Saratoga held on the 17th day of July, 1985, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Callon, Fanelli, Hlava, Ivbyles and Mayor Clevenger
