A R]~OLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SARATOGA CONFIRMING APPOINTMENT OF CITY
MANAGER AND APPOINTING SUCH CITY MANAGER TO
THE OFFICE OF CITY TRE~URER
WHEREAS, the City Council has appointed Harry R. Peacock as City
Manager; and
WHEREAS, Harry R. Peacock assumed his duties as City Manager on
September 3, 1985; and
WHEREAS, there is presently a vacancy in the office of City Treasurer;
and
WHEREAS, Harry R. Peacock is familiar with the financial administration
of city government and the responsibilities of a city treasurer;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1T RESOLVED as follows:
L Effective as of September 3, 1985, HARRY R. PEACOCK is
appointed as City Manager of the City of Saratoga, with full power and authority to
exercise all duties and responsibilities of such office as prescribed in the City Code or
otherwise provided by law, and such appointment is hereby ratified and confirmed.
2. Effective immediately, HARRY R. PEACOCK is appointed as City
Treasurer of the City of Saratoga, with full power and authority to exercise all duties
and responsibilities of such office as prescribed in the City Code or otherwise provided
by law.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Saratoga held on the 18th day of September, 1985, by the following vote:
AYES: CounciLmembers Callcm, Fanelli, }1lava, }4vyles and Mayor Clevenger
