RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA
REVISING THE ORDER OF BUSINESS AT REGULAR MEETINGS
AND SUPERSEDING RESOLUTION 2069
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to inprove its effectiveness in conducting
the business of the Council and recognizes the importance of a well-structured
agenda in achieving this goal, and
WHEREAS, the City Council believes that revising the order of business
for its regular meetings will 'improve its effectiveness.
NON, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that, pursuant to Section 2-10.030 of the
Saratoga Municipal Code, the order of business of the City Council shall
be as follows:
1. Roll Call
2. Ceremonial Items
3. Routine Matters
4. Consent Calendar
5. Ccn~nunications frcm Ccmuissions and the Public
6. Old Business
7. New Business
8. Public Hearings
9. City Council Items
10. Closed Session
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of Saratoga on the 19th day of
February, 1986, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Callon, Fanelli, Hlava, Moyles and Mayor Clevenger
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
